Want a get a post box number instead of long lasting address. Follower these steps.
Public can obtain the facility of post boxes from SL Post for delivery of their postal articles.
The post box means a small space in the sorting rack at the post office reserved for the relevant purchaser in a manner to be placed his postal articles till he collects. These boxes are available with a PO Box number or permanent address.
(This is based on the calendar year irrespective of the starting date. For continuing the service ,this annual fee should be renewed)
Payments can be made on cash or by cheques.
Conditions:
- A written request addressed to the Postmaster General is needed from the purchaser.
- Post boxes are provided free of charge for the public whose residences or places of business are situated within or out of the delivery zones where postman’s delivery does not occur.
- addressee can collect the postal articles deposited in the box at the post office only once per day.
- Post box service is not available for the postal articles what are needed to make written acceptance.
