Capacity Development Training Program
A Capacity Development Training Program aimed at enhancing the professional skills of postal executive officers were successfully conducted recently at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, jointly organized by the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) and the Sri Lanka Postal Department. The program was led by:
- Dr. Vinaya Prakash Singh – Secretary General, APPU
- Mr. K.P. Sandeep – Advisor, APPU
- Ms. Suchismita Swain – Course Director, APPU
Following the certificate awarding ceremony, the invitees and officers participated in a group photograph, marking the successful conclusion of the program. Distinguished participants at the final session included:
- Mr. Ruwan Sathkumara – Postmaster General
- Ms. Chameesha de Silva – Deputy Postmaster General (Administration)
- Ms. Samanmali Perera – Superintendent (International Post)
- Mr. Upatissa Wijekoon – Director (Training) along with several other executive and managerial officers.
Through initiatives like this, we continue to strengthen the leadership and expertise of our postal officers, paving the way for a modern and future-ready postal service.
