Functions
  • The role of the Postal Management Training College is to pave the way for improving the performance of the department through human resource development.
  • To achieve that goal, the United Nations Development Project and the Universal Postal Union came into existence on May 14, 1990 at the Postal Management Training College.
  • The Postal Management Training College organizes and conducts training courses by developing the attitudes, skills and knowledge of the senior officials at the executive level and staff level within the department, and achieves the objectives of the training through follow-up.
  • All the other staff are trained by 07 postal training institutes representing various provinces of the island, and the training is monitored and updated as necessary by the Postal Management Training College by measuring the strengths and weaknesses.
  • In this way, the field of training is conducted to inform the public about the innovative services that are introduced to the public from time to time by the postal department, and another task is to popularize the services that are introduced for the children of Deya, such as the stamp hobby.
  • The extremely heavy tasks of training the staff both locally and abroad are carried out by this, and one more role is to provide international level knowledge to the staff by sending the selected staff members for foreign training.For that, in particular, training is provided abroad in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Postal College in Bangkok, Thailand, which is operated by the Universal Postal Union, which is affiliated with the United Nations.
  • Another role of the Postal Management Training College is to creatively present the unique duties assigned to the Postal Management Training College in special occasions such as World Post Day celebrations.
