Scope of Service

1. Reply Coupons are exchangeable at Post Offices abroad for postage stamps, and thus enable the sender of a letter to a place abroad to prepay a reply. They are sold at all Post Offices in this country, and coupons received from other countries may be exchanged for postage stamps at any Post Office.
2. Reply coupons may be purchased at the price of Rs.350.00 each at any Post Office in Sri Lanka and each coupon is exchangeable in any foreign country of the Universal Postal Union for one or more postage stamps representing the postage payable on an unregistered letter of the first step abroad by surface mail. An International Reply Coupon received in this country is exchangeable at any Post Office for one or more postage stamps or postal stationary to the value of Rs.110.00
