- Sri Lanka Post offers a special courtesy charges for charity/Social Services/Voluntary organizations in their letter posting.
Insured Fee
- Special fee per letter – Rs.30.00
- Maximum weight of a letter – 20 g
Conditions: -
- Written request of the organization /institute
- The organization /institute should have been approved by a parliament act
- It is compulsory to have the prior approval from the Postmaster General
- Minutes of the final congress meeting /accounts report of the organization /institute should be needed. In addition ,the institute is liable to present any other report as per the request of Postmaster General
- It should be an institute that is conducted without profitable manners.
- The institute does not belong to the facilities of registered post or any other special provisions under this courtesy.
